Sloth-cute or lazy animal?

Do you know how a sloth looks like? For the rest of my life (oh, it is not Maher Zain song btw) it is my first time knowing the existence of sloth. I knew about this animal when i watched National Geographic past few days ago.

Sloth is a small animal which is the world's slowest mammal. It only 58 cm in size and the weight of this animal is around 4 kg.

Do you think sloth is a lazy animal when you look at their face? Or do you think it is a cute animal? For me, it is a cute yet a lazy animal. hahaha

Err do you think when there is a race between sloth and tortoise which one is the winner? When you know the answer just let us know! ^_^

Let us watch some video of sloth! Have fun!

Red Panda

Hi! After a long time, i did not update this blog!

Today, i wanna share some interesting facts about one weird animal that i think it is very cute!
Red Panda, it is also known as Ailurus fulgens or shining-cat. This Red Panda can be found at China, Nepal, Laos, India, Myanmar and Himalaya. The common habitat for Red Panda is damp coniferous forest. What do they eat? Well, Red Panda eat bamboo leaves and bamboo shoots. Sometimes, it eats small mammals, birds, eggs, blossoms, and berries. In captivity, they were observed to eat birds, blossoms, Acer and Morus leaves, bark and the fruits of Acer, Fagus and Moru (this is based on this source)

The interesting facts about Red Panda:
-good tree climbers
-use their tail as blanket
-life span is about 12 to 14 years
-it is about the size of a raccoon
-its weight is about 7 to 14 pounds
-they are about 20 to 26 inches long with their tail an additional 12 to 20 inches

Why does people give it name Red Panda? Maybe because the colour of it fur is reddish-brown.

Lets take a look of little cute Red Panda!

It is smiling!

Oh dear! It is so cute!

It also can stand by itself!

Here, i would like to share one video about Red Panda.

What do you say? It is very cute right? I want to own it! :)

Weird weird weird animal...

There are 2 weird weird weird animal that i want to share with you...1st,
LEAFTY SEADRAGON
Named after the dragons of Chinese mythology, Leafy seadragons (Phycodurus eques) resemble a piece of drifting seaweed as they float in the seaweed-filled water. The Leafy seadragon, with green, orange and gold hues along its body, is covered with leaf-like appendages, making it remarkably camouflaged. Only the fluttering of tiny fins or the moving of an independently swiveling eye, reveals its presence.

Like the seahorse, the male seadragon carries as many as 150-200 eggs. After being deposited by the female, the eggs are carried in the honeycomb-shaped area (known as the brood patch) under the male's tail for approximately eight weeks. Seadragons have no teeth or stomach and feed exclusively on mysidopsis shrimp. Known as "Australian seahorses" in Australia, they are found in calm, cold water that is approximately 50-54° F (10-12° C). Leafy seadragons have been protected by the South Australian government since 1982.

Second is..KOMONDOR DOG.
Females are 27 inches (69cm) at the withers. Male Komondorok are a minimum of 28 inches at the withers, but many are over 30 inches tall, making this one of the larger common breeds of dog. The body is not overly coarse or heavy, however, and people unfamiliar with the breed are often surprised by how quick and agile the dogs are.

Its long, thick, strikingly corded white coat (the heaviest amount of fur in the canine world) resembles dreadlocks or a mop. The puppy coat is soft and fluffy. However, the coat is wavy and tends to curl as the puppy matures. A fully mature coat is formed naturally from the soft undercoat and the coarser outer coat combining to form tassels, or cords. Some help is needed in separating the cords so the dog does not turn into one large matted mess. The length of the cords increases with time as the coat grows. Shedding is very minimal with this breed, contrary to what one might think (once cords are fully formed). The only substantial shedding occurs as a puppy before the dreadlocks fully form. The Komondor is born with only a white coat, unlike the similar-looking Puli, which is usually white, black or sometimes grayish. However, a working Komondor's coat may be discolored by the elements, and may appear off-white if not washed regularly.

Quagga, Another Extinnct Animal.

Hey Guys...Before this I wrote something about a extinct animal, tasmanian tiger wolf..
It last seen on 1933. We all know zebra right? Horse and such. Quagga? The quagga (Equus quagga quagga) is an extinct subspecies of the Plains zebra. It extinct or last seen on years 1883. That a long time ago...
It was distinguished from other zebras by having the usual vivid marks on the front part of the body only. In the mid-section, the stripes faded and the dark, inter-stripe spaces became wider, and the rear parts were a plain brown. The name comes from a Khoikhoi word for zebra and is onomatopoeic, being said to resemble the quagga's call. The only quagga to have ever been photographed alive was a mare at the Zoological Society of London's Zoo in Regent's Park in 1870.
The quagga lived in the drier parts of South Africa, on grassland. The northern limit seems to have been the Orange River in the west and the Vaal River in the east; the south-eastern border may have been the Great Kei River. It was hunted for its meat and hide, and is one of the many victims of modern mass extinction.
Human all real badass right?

Alien???

What is the first vision about alien that will came across your mind when i said about alien? Big Eyes? Green? Skinny? Naked? Well I guess that common characteristics about them anyway (even there is no solid prove at all). Do you guys have seen E.T.(1982) movie by Steven Spielberg. If u don't...*sigh*.

The world smallest monkey, TARSIER (Genus Tarsius). Characteristics? Alien look a like!! Except it came from earth. Their faces are short, and the eyes, are LARGE AND GOGGLING!! They have long legs and tail, short bodies, and a very flexible neck that can turn 360 degrees? With its huge eyes, long tail, and hands and feet, that must have inspired Steven Spielberg when he created ET.

"Come and see real E.T. found only in Philippines"
-Steven Spielberg

This mammal is like 24/7 on tree even while sleeping and giving birth to the young ones. Main food, insect. This animal not exactly a monkey, scientist still don't know how to class this species. This cute and unique species, can only be found on Philippines, Celebes, BORNEO (proud to be SARAWAK people) and Sumatra.
As usual, this species are threatened and endangered species. This animal never formed successful breeding colonies in captivity. Why? Well, tarsier have been known to injure and even kill themselves because of the stress. Never seen it before? Never know about it? Well u know it now.
